How an Online Offer Event works
14 Day Home Sale is a structured offer-event platform. Offers submitted during an event are nonbinding indications of interest, not real estate purchase offers.
About the 14 Day name
14 Day Home Sale refers to the platform's online home-marketing and Offer Event concept. Event timing may vary. Buyer activity, offers, acceptance, a sale and closing within 14 days are not guaranteed.
- 01
Listing prepared
FSBO seller or listing realtor uploads property details and photographs they are authorized to publish.
- 02
Online Offer Event scheduled
Seller picks a start time, duration, starting offer, and minimum offer increase.
- 03
Buyers approved
Interested buyers request access. The seller (or representative) approves each buyer before the offer window opens.
- 04
Offer window
Approved buyers submit nonbinding offers. The public feed shows anonymous numbers and amounts in real time.
- 05
Window closes
The closing time may extend automatically if a new offer arrives in the final minutes. The seller is never forced to choose anyone.
- 06
Preferred Buyer chosen
After the window closes, the seller selects a Preferred Buyer (and optional Backup Buyer).
- 07
Terms negotiated offline
The seller and Preferred Buyer discuss complete contract terms. Earnest money and contracts happen outside this platform.
